Adult Apprenticeship
Apprenticeships can seem a strange term to use for adults that have been employed using their skills and knowledge for years. However, many individuals undertake this route as it suits their circumstances and career progression – that is; the training and development is conducted in the workplace and increasingly online, avoiding travelling to adult education classes of an evening. The main qualification within the apprenticeship is the same as you would gain if attending college of an evening over 1 or 2 years. Another plus is the cost. Employers that have an annual salary fee of over £3m pay into a levy fund and then draw on this when apprenticeships are undertaken. Those companies under the £3m salary threshold only pay 5% of the apprenticeship fee, making it financially attractive over the alternative college evening course. See the cost in brackets.
Delivery of the programme
Our approach includes regular half day or full day workshops, centred around improving knowledge and behaviours whilst also giving leaders a chance to work with colleagues to improve and share best practice, striving to achieve collective success.

Driver CPC & Forklift Truck Training
Periodic Training is continuing professional development for bus, coach and lorry drivers. It carries on throughout the professional driver’s career, no matter how infrequently they drive. Driver CPC requires drivers to complete a minimum of 35 hours of periodic training every five years for as long as they wish to continue to drive professionally.
We also provide novice, experienced and refresher Forklift Truck training.
